Loading ...Oh, this is fucken great, on national television…but will government do anything about it? Lets review what happened.
Paulson was just asked about 10 minutes ago “Do you think it’s right that bonuses are being paid to 28,000 Goldman Sachs employees at the tone of 600K a year while my constituents are losing their jobs, their homes and their kids cannot go to college this year?”
His answer something like, “That’s a very good question…blah blah blah (lots of ass kissing to the congressman)….but 1- Those people losing their homes had nothing to do with the decisions of AIG and I had no part on that decision 2- If AIG wasn’t bailed out, there would be a lot more foreclosures than what is currently happening”
Okay, let’s PRETEND a simpler scenario took place to what he just said. Let’s say I lose my home, my kid is going hungry and I’m angry with life. So I break into Paulson’s house and point a gun to his head. Then I say, “ I know it was wrong to break into your house because of my current situation, but if you give me that 600K…there is a good chance I’ll be happy and not pull the trigger to the gun pointed at your head”
Goldman Sachs used extortion both directly and indirectly to receive Billions from government. Anyway you look at it, it was wrong, unethical, illegal and not moral. Paulson is lucky that I’m not currently in financial stress and don’t believe in capital punishment…because if I was and did…I would gladly pulled the trigger…he is a criminal who doesn’t belong to run free in society.
