Loading ...That is how I currently feel about our stock market. There is no real chance of another huge move up while the economy is still weak and expectations have now been raised. There is also little chance of the market falling off the cliff because the change to mark to market and the fact that the Fed/Gov/Goldman are working together to do whatever it takes to keep the market up. The only real long plays I can see in this market is buying gold (reserve currency diversification play) or writing short term option straddles and buying the long end (play on little volatility / time decay). This is probably the best investment strategy until you see the Fed start to increase interest rates. When that happens, be ready to liquidate your equities and move it all into cash.
